The ALM Analyst I – Reports to the Asset Liability Manager and is accountable for Treasury Reporting & Analytics, Treasury Budgeting and providing Balance Sheet Management resources for FNN and the FSC Bank Presidents. Performing in this role requires working closely across Treasury and with the Assistant Treasurer, FSC Presidents & FNN Finance.Key Accountabilities – Reporting
Treasury Reporting
- Treasury Daily, Finance Committee, Treasury MOR, Treasury P&L, FNN P&L, B/S Management, Markets & Economics, LIHTC (et al)
- Assemble reporting packs, make updates and deliver.
Investment Reporting
- Develop and deliver Treasury budget (ex. Investments & Admin)
- Coordinate Budget process with Treasury Admin and Senior Analyst – Investments.
- Provide variance analysis upon completion of budget process and check for accuracy.
Ad Hoc Analysis
- Deliver assignments on time.
- Maintain the tools and techniques used to support Treasury Reporting
- Develop understanding of data, systems, tools, and reporting capabilities through collaboration with SMEs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or equivalent experience
First rate competency with MS Excel, Business Objects, EssBase, SnL Financial data services.
Working knowledge of:
- Bank Products & balance sheet
- Fixed income, derivatives, futures and options.
Communication Skills Required
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with an aptitude for delivering presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative relationships, listen and actively contribute to discussions
- Demonstrates a consultative approach with the ability to analyze stakeholder needs
Excellent project and time management skills with ability to multi-task and organize several concurrent accountabilities.
