The role of Post-Closing File Reviewer will be responsible for verify documents required by Investors are completed correctly and are located in the correct locations in LOS. The role will need to manage on a daily basis multiple files and communicate with several production areas within Home Point Financial. In addition they will need to maintain reporting to verify that collateral is being received and cleared by both the custodian and the warehouse bank.

  • Review FHA, HECM, USDA and VA documentation for completion and accuracy.
  • Review signed loan documents for compliance with Federal, State, and Company laws and policies
  • Ensures that all closing packages meet the Company standards for quality and accuracy
  • Corresponds with processors, underwriter’s, post closers, title companies and closing agents to obtain corrected/outstanding documentation
  • Prepare loan file for Investor Delivery
  • Obtains Investor Suspense conditions for loan purchase.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with documents in a mortgage transaction
  • Mortgage processing background a plus
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and must be organized
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
