Arcadis seeks Tax Manager - Compliance to join its tax team in our Highlands Ranch office consisting of dedicated tax professionals. He or she will be responsible for the preparation of all tax compliance and provision support for the Arcadis domestic operations. This includes US tax compliance for Federal (20%), State and Local (60%), international (5-10%) and other miscellaneous compliance needs. Given the growing footprint of the Arcadis Group, the successful candidate will be an ancillary support on international compliance and a wide spectrum of tax issues like corporate income tax (federal and state), indirect taxes, transfer pricing, controversy etc. The successful candidate will join and be an active part of the Arcadis global Tax Department.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Manage federal and state compliance calendar;
  • Prepare (or manage) the preparation of all federal, state and local tax returns;
  • Pro-actively add to the continuous improvement of the tax function;
  • Assist with or prepare ancillary non-US Form 1120-F returns;
  • Manage proper documentation for tax positions in current and prior years;
  • Pro-actively advise business (including finance departments) on tax matters;
  • Monitor tax legislation changes for potential impacts on operations and pro-actively recommend adequate responses;
  • Coordinate tax controversies and audits;
  • Research tax issues and considerations (federal, state and indirect tax;
  • Oversee and manage tax reporting and accounting, including analysis of uncertain tax positions,
  • deferred tax positions, return-to-provision adjustments, etc.,
  • Assist in the maintenance and continuous improvement of the tax control framework;
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation and practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years tax experience of federal / state compliance
  • Master’s in Taxation
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  • Knowledge of tax accounting and reporting

Required Driving Statement

This position requires a current valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years tax experience, of which 5+ years with federal / state compliance experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting specifically
  • CPA
