Business Director, Sales Performance, Reporting & Analytics

The Treasury Management Group is responsible for a broad portfolio of products and services delivered to Commercial clients. Sales analytics is integral to Treasury Management’s performance, especially in the current competitive environment. TM Analytics supports a wide range of sales functions and activities including deposit acquisition through business case development, sales delivery, profitability, and portfolio analysis.

The Treasury Management Group is seeking high-performing self-starter eager to disrupt traditional modes of banking, contribute and define the future of Treasury Management at Capital One. This role is a critical and newly established leadership role with Treasury Management Sales Operations and will be responsible for leading our Treasury Management Sales performance agenda. The leader in this role will manage a team of analysts and project managers, to drive decisions around sales optimization, with the goal of improving growth of Treasury Management business while also growing deposits.

The Director will lead and contribute to the development of credible, data-driven recommendations within multiple collaborative teams. The Director is expected to be inventive problem-solvers both comfortable addressing ambiguous questions and executing sophisticated analyses. They will manage multiple projects and present their findings and recommendations to senior leaders, with whom they will be thought-partners. A successful Director will have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of partner teams, including Treasury Management sales, finance teams, technology teams, risk management teams, and product management teams.


  • Work with cross-functional teams and leverage data and analysis to solve complex business problems

  • Oversee analysis of pipeline health, sales funnel analytics, forecasting, developing and owning incentive models

  • Develop and lead projects that produce substantive, grounded casework

  • Build working relationships with Commercial Bank lines-of-business and other partner teams

  • Develop and present findings and recommendations for senior leaders, including Company senior management

  • Promote the culture and values of Capital One and the Commercial Strategy & Innovation group

  • Lead ad-hoc analyses in support of business recommendations & presentations to executives

  • Be an advocate for sales efforts, and own analytics

  • Develop sales funnel reporting & agenda to improve conversion rate working with TM Market Managers and Team Leads to execute plan, to harness insights and work streams ranging from deep quantitative analytics to sales health measurement to develop and implement recommendations to improve performance

  • Develop and own TM Sales incentive model

  • Leverage data to create sales reporting and predictive tools

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis
  • At least 5 years of experience in qualitative analysis
  • At least 5 years of experience in people management
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting or relevant fields with a record of strong performance

  • 5+ years of Treasury Management Sales experience
