Essential Job Functions:

Accounting Duties

  • Ensure daily general ledger and sub-ledger postings in a timely and accurate manner
  • Complete month-end processing regarding accurate Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables
  • Handle all guest billing and/or chargeback inquiries in a timely manner
  • Count, reconcile, and prepare daily deposits and maintain bank service pick-ups
  • Evaluate credit worthiness for all potential guest and client billing
  • Timely and accurate processing of payroll including tips and gratuities
  • Performs regular payroll audits while maintaining and enforcing payroll policies and procedures
  • Insures proper cash on hand while enforcing all cash policies and procedures
  • Reconciles vendor statements, performs weekly payables, and daily invoice posting
  • Assists with budget/forecast preparation

Human Resource Duties

  • Organize and plan associate events
  • Actively recruit for open positions
  • Create and maintain associate recognition and reward programs
  • Conduct orientation
  • Upload all associate files in Efficenter
  • Complete new hire on-boarding process
  • Maintain all HR compliance, laws, and regulations
  • Assist with counseling-related activities to address performance and conduct
  • Maintain associates files
  • Manage associate benefit programs including health insurance and related benefit programs
  • Actively lead and participate in Safety meetings
  • Conduct and manager semi-annual wage surveys
  • A service-focused spirit with a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests and associates
  • Operating department as own business - managing labor and expenses, being creative and adjusting to the demands of the hotel
  • Comfortable overseeing third-party vendors and holding them accountable
  • Perform Manager-On-Duty as assigned

  • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Human Resources: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
