Senior Business Analyst (Marketing Valuations Lead)

The Marketing Valuations team in the Consumer Bank has a meaty, high-visibility role for Customer valuations analysis for the Bank, and guide decisions on our $150M+ budget.

Newcomers to the Consumer Bank will find a young and hungry organization looking to expand rapidly and build national-scale – using marketing as a key lever to do so. This role provides a rare opportunity for both breadth and ownership. You will be the lead for all of Consumer Bank valuations – representing tremendous scope and growth potential. The horizontal nature of the role will provide you significant exposure across a wide cross-section of Bank leadership and allow you to quickly learn the overall drivers of the profitability of the business. Seize the chance to hone your valuations/analytics skills while learning about Bank economics and both digital and off-line marketing channels!

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysis: Construct ROI analysis’ of our marketing investments for executive leadership. Provide business recommendations to Director+ pod leaders on marketing spend allocations.
  • Marketing: Work with key partners to develop valuations solutions tailored to marketed populations and de-averaged by segment (e.g. product, channel, and marketing offer type).
  • Partnership: Collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization including: Marketing pods, Decision Sciences, Product & Pricing, Finance and others – to deliver powerful solutions that can help us make better decisions and boost the Bank’s performance right away!

Desired skillsets:

  • Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. Valuations and modeling experience preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: Tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business.
  • Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. Ability to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1 year of experience in analysis. Modeling and valuations experience preferred but not necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
  • 1+ years of experience in SQL querying and familiarity with complex data sets
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis
