Team Lead

Responsibilities

Manage teams to ensure they are utilizing strong account management strategies to retain existing clients through proactive vendor management. Effectively transition new client relationships from the Sales process to the Implementation and Account Launch process through training and coaching a team of employees. Align with key client executives to identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand accounts through additional services and deliverables by up-selling and cross-selling. Continuously build knowledge of current industry trends, competitive information, and industry/technical knowledge. Take preventative measures to ensure that all accounts are functioning smoothly and that each customer site is being maintained properly. Proactively detect & correct account concerns and decide on the best method of corrective action.You will provide proactive leadership, coaching and guidance to Account Managers and Customer Service Reps pertaining to safety, procedures, risk management, attendance, project margin, vendor management, compliance, selection and development of operations personnel, project development, facility efficiency, customer service, and other duties. You will also provide assistance in aligning between Operations and Accounting departments during reconciliations. Team Leads work to develop and drive consistent execution of Operations policies/procedures across the entire business unit

  • Organize and schedule shifts
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain electronic filing system
  • Word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
  • responsible for supervising projects in progress and ensures that all issues related to the projects are clarified and completed to avoid confusion and interruption during execution of projects
  • keep track of all activities, and ensure that they constantly remind and intimate the director of what needs to be done even when they have forgotten about it, in order to meet up with deadlines

  • Proven ability to lead a large team
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed
  • Demonstrable risk management aptitude
  • Ability to travel for client meetings
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.*

Availability: You must have an open schedule between our busiest times of year (November-April) in order to cover rotating shifts during snow storms. We typically work mon-fri 9am to 5pm, however if we have a storm that lasts a few days we will rotate shifts to cover length of storm, it is expected you accept your shift and do so, If a storm falls on a Saturday or Sunday we add schedules to cover the weekend and overtime is extremely likely during storms. Due to the importance of providing emergency services during winter, and preserving the relationship built with our clients and vendors, if you have obligations that could interfere with these expectations DO NOT APPLY.

Education/Experience Needed:

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or an equivalent work experience 5yrs or more in related field in Landscape, Snow Removal, Lot Maintenance, etc possessing a variety of skills encompassing attention to detail, the ability to hold others accountable, willingness to work alone and in teams with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced analytical and problem solving skills, solid business planning skills with the ability to adapt to changes in priorities and procedures in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with specific focus on Excel and Outlook.
