Our Pelham, AL office is growing! And, we are looking for an addition to our professional office staff. Desired skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Word – Ability to format documents using excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Excel – Spreadsheets and Pivot Tables
  • PowerPoint – Presentation preparation
  • Outlook – Calendars and meeting invitations
  • Working knowledge of Adobe including document conversion
  • Familiarity with engineering and construction terminology
  • Ability to learn new software programs, business procedures and applicable skills
  • Accurate math skills
  • A professional demeanor
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • A desire to succeed and get along with others
  • Willingness to occasionally work late on weekdays and/or weekends if necessary

Job duties will include but may not be limited to:

  • Preparing and formatting resumes for client submittal
  • Invoice tracking and payment reconciliations
  • Employee time entry
  • Expense report preparation and submittal for reimbursement
  • New employee package preparation and distribution
  • New employee orientation
  • Corresponding with HR and Payroll on employee issues
  • Occasional trips for recruiting and/or training

Experience:

  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables: 1 year (Preferred)
