Senior level position primarily responsible for the preparation of price proposals, tracking of program budgets, and administration and negotiation of contracts. Position supports various departments, including but not limited to Business Development, Program Management and Accounting/Finance. Position will play the primary role in proposal management, pricing, and budget and cost analysis. This position requires working in a team environment, supporting and coordinating with Business Development, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Program Management and Senior Management. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance.


  • Price/Cost Proposal Management and Preparation including but not limited to:
  • Defines Proposal Structure (i.e. WBS)
  • Development of Cost Estimates
  • Coordinates activities of team members engaged in formulating cost estimates and proposal inputs
  • Identification of areas of cost risk * Contract Price Negotiations
  • Performs Return-on-Investment Analysis in support of proposals, IR&D, leases and Make/Buy decisions
  • Budget/Cost Performance Tracking
  • Advanced modeling skills, including
  • Excel modeling
  • System downloads and integration into models * Proposal, and Contract Management/Administration
  • Works closely with Program Managers to support various programs
  • Works closely with Business Development to support various proposals and pricing
  • Ability to work full time


Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in aerospace manufacturing/engineering companies preferred. Understanding of FARS and DFARS, CAS, and Government Cost Accounting is essential. Proficiency in Excel is critical. Experience with both firm fixed price and cost plus pricing approaches is preferred.
