JOB
OBJECTIVE: The Accounting Clerk will
assist in the preparation, verification and maintenance for a variety of one or
more general accounting functions or documents. General accounting
responsibilities including Accounts Receivable, Cash Reconciliation, and assist
with Month-End Close. The accounting clerk is to maintain accounts and records as
well as performing duties such as sorting customer issues. The job involves
keeping records of the cash transaction and receipts on a daily basis. The
Accounting Clerk contributes to the profitability and success of the
organization in the role of accounting clerk and by assisting related fields.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Perform duties as
requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based
upon operations, daily.
  • Processing
statements for customers on select accounts and individual request from
customers: processing, printing, prepping for mail out, daily.
  • Processing
of vendor credit cards, daily.
  • Answer
inquiries regarding customer invoices and billing, daily.
  • Processing
statements: processing, printing, prepping for mail out, monthly
  • Assist
with managing of contract invoices, monthly
  • Processing
cash receipts for customer payments that are collected at the branch’s
financial institution.
  • Processing
daily desktop deposits as needed to branch financial institution
  • Perform
daily settlement of Sage credit card charges.
  • Monitor
monthly balances of customer and work closely with management & sales, when
issues arise.
  • Maintain
customer files and ensure information is correct.
  • Follow
up on disputes in a timely manner and work with salespeople and customers to
resolve.
  • Communicate
A/R problems to Management.
  • Maintain
relationships with salespeople, Sales Manager, and General Manger as it relates
to the status of customer accounts.
  • Work
with customers in the branch.
  • Represent
the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer
service.
  • Abide
by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable
safety rules.
  • Support
corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company
  • Maintain
ACH customer accounts and process daily ACH drafts
  • Assist
in FRM billing
  • Assist
with fuel reconciliation

  • Work
overtime as needed

  • Lifting small weighed
objects constantly; 10 pound objects frequently and 20 to 30 pound objects

ATTENDANCE
REQUIREMENTS: Attendance on a regular,
consistent basis is mandatory including arriving at the time scheduled by your
supervisor daily.
