The Junior Treasury Analyst will assist in overseeing the cash management and banking activities within Bayview Asset Management and affiliate companies core business. This will include handling banking relationships, journal entries, internal reporting, certain kind of analyses, and daily cash management activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Reconcile daily cash reports for all entities

 Initiate and review wire transfers for processing; per corporate delegation of authorities

 Perform daily transactional cash accounting process and underlying support for cash journal entries (including copying and distributing entries to accounting staff members)

 Provide support to accounting for daily treasury transactions

 Maintain bank account opening/closing documentation process

 Maintain bank account and authorized signatory databases

 Perform ad-hoc projects for Treasurer as required

 Research and analyze treasury cash forecast variances

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

 Self-motivated, flexible, hands-on and able to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment

 Excellent organizational and time management skills

 Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills

 Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracy

 Have a willingness to learn new skills and responsibilities

 Take ownership of responsibilities and work independently as well as in a team environment

 Advanced skills in Excel and intermediate skills in all other Microsoft Office Suite applications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 A Bachelor of Science degree is required in Finance or Accounting

 Minimum 1-2 years treasury experience with a strong preference for 1-2 years Accounting experience
