This position will review and facilitate the purchase of loans through the non-delegated channel. Responsible for reviewing the closing package to ensure it meets Home Point Financial overlays, agency guideline, compliance regulation and State and Federal requirement.

  • Review any outstanding conditions from the underwriter
  • Review closing package for accuracy and condition for deficiencies
  • Review for state and federal required disclosures
  • Complete Compliance review of TRID, QM
  • Check MERS, NMLS, IOFAC and Soft credit check
  • Effectively communicate deficiencies to the lender in writing and verbally explain deficiencies
  • Ensure loans are Insured/Guaranteed required timelines
  • Meet service level premiums
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of FNMA, FREDDIE and Gov’t guidelines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and multi-tasker
  • Familiar with closing documents in a mortgage transaction
  • Must be a team-player
  • 2-5 years mortgage experience, government experience a plus
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • College degree a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft office products
