Normal Work Schedule: 8:00am to 4:45pm.
Job Summary: Performs very high-level professional or technical accounting activities for the organization requiring the expert knowledge and professional application of accounting principles, practices and techniques in accordance with industry standards, current laws and university policy. Involved in the overall direction and leadership of financial programs for the organization. Supervises senior level and entry level professional accountants and other staff. Responsible for establishing policy, procedures and standards that ensure the protection of fiscal assets.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting or Finance and ten (10) years progressively responsible professional accounting experience; OR a Masters degree in Accounting or Business and 9 years professional accounting experience; OR CPA and 9 years professional accounting experience.
